What wonderful drizzling weather outside!! Feel like sipping a quick bowl of tomato soup, here we go.. Simple and quick restaurant style tomato soup recipe that everyone must try.
3 medium-sized tomatoes
2 tsp butter
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp salt and pepper
1 tsp sugar
Fresh cream and croutons for garnish
Step 1: Blanch the tomatoes and blend them.
Step 2: Filter it to get a smooth puree.
Step 3: In a pan, add 2 tsp butter and pour the tomato puree once the butter gets melted.
Step 4: Now add sugar, salt and pepper powder and boil it for 2 mins.
Step 5: Mix 2 tsp water to 1 tsp cornstarch and add this to the pan and stir the soup to avoid lumps.
Step 6: Boil it for 5-8 mins till you get the soup consistency.
Step 7: Remove the edges of the bread and slice them into small squares and fry them. ( croutons are ready)
Step 8: Transfer the soup to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream and croutons.
