Ragi Rava Dosa

Getting bored of the same old idly and dosa? Ragi Rava Dosa is the best choice for those looking for a tasty and low-calorie breakfast. Just a cup of idly batter is sufficient to make this healthy dosa. You can also make it colourful by adding chopped chilies, coriander leaves and onions. Come, Let's start making nutritious dosa


Idly Batter – 1 cups

Rava (Sooji) – 1/4 cup

Ragi Flour – 1 cups

Cumin seeds, curry and coriander leaves

Chopped onion and green chilies

Salt as per taste

Oil as required


Step 1: In a bowl, mix ragi flour and Rava adding 2 cups of water.

Step 2: Allow it to rest for 45 mins.

Step 3: Now add dosa batter and salt.

Step 4: Add cumin seeds, chopped onions, green chili, curry leaves and coriander leaves.( Optional)

Step 5: Heat the dosa tawa and start making evening spread dosa. Add oil and cook until the dosas are crispy on both sides.

Serve with idly podi, tomato chutney or any chutney of your choice.
