PONNANGANI KEERAI PORIYAL

Spinach/Keerai is the most avoided dish by all the children at home. The main reason lies in its tasteless part, but beyond that its recommended by Doctors to eat Ponnangani Keerai cause it improves eyesight, and complexion.




INGREDIENTS

1 Bunch of cleaned Ponnangani Keerai

1 medium size chopped Onion

50 gm half cooked Paasi parupu

1 Dry Red Chilli

4 tablespoons of grated coconut

½ teaspoon of mustard seeds

½ teaspoon of urad dal

½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt as per requirement


METHOD

  • Chop the bunch of cleaned Ponnangani Keerai finely.

  • Now, heat the oil in the pan, let the mustard seed, urad dal, dry red chilli gets crackled.

  • Add the Keerai, salt and turmeric powder into it, mix it well.

  • Finally, add the half cooked Paasi parapu. Let it cook for 5 minutes.

  • Healthy Ponnangani Keerai Poriyal is ready.
