The moment we say ‘Pizza’, the first thing which comes in our mind is Pizza Hut, Dominos, Oyalo Pizza, and related shops. Why don’t we just start making ourselves??? Pizza is an Italian dish and traditionally it is a wooden-fired oven dish also.
FOR PIZZA BASE:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt as per requirement
FOR PIZZA TOPPING:
1 medium-size Onion
1 medium-size Tomato
1 medium-size Capsicum
½ cup grated Sweetcorn
½ cup of Black Olives
100 gms processed Cheese
½ cup of Mozzarella Cheese
1 teaspoon Oregano and Chilli flakes
Take a bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt into it, sieve the flour.
Now, add the yeast along with a pinch of sugar. Mix it well by using a little amount of warm water in a separate bowl. And keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Yeast would have risen, add it to the dough and kneed it well and keep the dough aside for 4-6 hours.
Once the dough is ready, roll it evenly and prick it with the fork so that it makes nicely.
Preheat the oven in 180 degrees Celsius. Now, put the pizza base in the preheated oven and bake it for 8 minutes.
Once the base is baked, let it get cool for 5 minutes and then start spreading the tomato ketchup thoroughly on it.
Cut all the Vegetables (Onion, Tomato, Capsicum) into thin slices and place it over the base.
Now, add the Sweetcorn and Black Olives on it.
Spread the cheese and Mozzarella on the top of the Veggies.
Finally, preheat the oven again for 5 minutes at 250 degrees and then bake it at 250 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle the Oregano and Chilli flakes and serve it with Tomato Ketchup
