PAASI PAAYARU SUNDAL

Quarantine made you more lazier?, more fat? then let's start our diet with boiled green gram dal. It contains high antioxidant levels, rich Potassium, Magnesium and Fibre. Good for weight loss improves heart health improves blood circulation and much more.


INGRIDIENTS


• 150 gm cup of Green gram dal

• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

• 2 tablespoons grated fresh coconut

• 1 Red Dry Chilli

• 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

• ½ teaspoon Asafoetida powder

• ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds

• Few Curry leaves

• Salt as per requirement


METHOD

  • Pressure cook the Green gram dal for 2 whistles, it should be cooked softly not very mashy.

  • Now, heat the vegetable oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, asafoetida powder, dry red chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt, let them crackle.

  • Add all these to the cooked green gram dal and mix it.

  • Finally, transfer it to the serving bowl and sprinkle the grated coconut on top of it.

  • Healthy Paasi Paayaru Sundal is ready.
