Who would say no to crispy crunchy dosas with tasty chutney and sambar?
What if you don't have a reserve of dosa batter at home but still craving for a crispy dosa? Here's an amazing instant onion Rava Dosa recipe for you.
The Same quantity of Rava and Rice flour - appx 1 cup each
Finely chopped onions, ginger, green chillies
Crushed or whole black peppercorns
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt and oil as required
Step 1: Add Rava and rice flour to 2 cups of water
Step 2: Now add cumin seeds, finely chopped green chillies and ginger and peppercorns to it.
Step 3: The batter should be of watery like milk consistency.
Step 4: If you find the time, it's better to soak the batter for 45 mins or less
Step 5: Heat the dosa tawa and spread little oil.
Step 6: Pour a ladle of batter around the tawa and fill the gap at the center without overlapping.
Step 7: Now add chopped onions on top of it and roast the dosa until golden brown on both sides.
Crispy and crunchy Onion Rava Dosa is ready to be served with tasty chutney and sambar.
