HEALTHY BREAKFAST - French Toast and Chickpea Salad

French Toast and Chickpea salad is a great protein rich breakfast for a relaxing weekend.

Whole wheat bread contains fiber and makes you feel full and promotes weight loss. Refreshing Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Sweet smelling herbs makes the salad appetizing.

Ingredients for Salad:

Freshly Chopped Veggies ( Cucumber, Tomato, Capsicum)

100g soaked and cooked chickpeas

Lemon Juice and Herbs

Ingredients for French Toast:

4 Slices of Brown Bread

2 Eggs, Half cup of cold milk

Brown Sugar and Cinnamon powder


Step 1: In a bowl, add 2 egg, and beat well.

Step 2: Now add the cold milk and required amount sugar.

Step 3: Dip the bread in this mixture and toast in a pan coated with butter or ghee.

Step 4: Toast until golden brown and repeat the process for the remaining slices too.

Step 5: Now you can add your favourite toppings like maple syrup or cinnamon powder.

Step 6: For the salad, Mix cooked chickpea with fresh veggies and add salt, pepper powder and herbs.
