Garlic Butter Chicken Breast

Chicken has become the most loved poultry meat among children's and people because of its tender texture and reduced cooking time, as well as being rich in protein and zero carbs makes your dinner healthy .



Garlic is native to Central Asia and a common seasoning worldwide. It has medicinal value like improves immunity, stabilizes blood sugar level etc.

I make many of my favorite dishes with chicken. Here I'm going to share one of my favorite dishes is Creamy Garlic chicken served with some raw/steamed vegetables.

Here I have used breast pieces of chicken you can also replace with chicken thighs. You can have this Butter Garlic Chicken with light roti/chapati. It's such a delicious and mesmerizing meal.

I love salads. To have a change from my regular cooking plan, sometimes it is interesting to try something new as this recipe is from French cuisine. And I have learned this to complement my diet. Let me share the same with you all!

Ingredients

  • 4 piece Chicken breast (boneless)

  • 1 Big Onion

  • 5-6 Garlic cloves crushed

  • 1 cup Water

  • ½ cup Heavy Cream

  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • Chicken Stock (optional)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1-2 tsp Black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Some veggies like Lettuce, Red cabbage, Cherry Tomatoes, and Coriander.

Method

  1. Firstly start pounding the chicken to make it flat.

  2. Now rub the pepper, lime juice and salt on both sides and set aside for 30 minutes.

  3. Take a pan and add some olive oil in a medium flame then add the crushed garlic cloves saute until light golden brown.

  4. Then add onion and let them become tender and infuse well.

  5. Later add the chicken breast and cook each side for 15 minutes until slightly tender.

  6. Add water and let it cook until the chicken is completely tender.

  7. Then add heavy oregano mix well and close the lid to steam cook for 5-8 minutes.

  8. Now start your platter with raw veggies to serve the hot-hot with light Rotis/Chapatis.
