Semiya kesari is an authentic south indian dessert made with roasted vermicelli, ghee, sugar and saffron. Lets make it healthy with cane sugar and give a twist to it by adding some fruits and nuts.
Step 1: Boil 2 cups water in a pan and add 1 cup roasted semiya
Step 2: After its cooked add just 3 to 4 tsp of cane sugar and 2 tsp ghee and your favourite food colour ( optional)
Step 3: Mix it well and cook for few mins.
Step 4: Chop your favourite nuts and Nethram pazham. Add it to the semiya.
