This is a simple biscuit cake that is great with tea or coffee. Easy to make, pretty and very delicious. Stir up these teacakes fora midday tea, or anytime treat.
Biscuit Cake is a very easy recipe. You can easily make it without oven and just by using a cooker or a closed non stick pan. You just need some easily available ingredients, and you are done.
300gm biscuit powdered
Half cup sugar
1 cup milk
Half teaspoon baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Grind the biscuits into fine powder in a mixie grinder. Add Sugar and Baking Powder to the powdered Biscuits and mix well. Add Vanilla essence and add milk gradually.
Stir in one direction. Consistency shouldn't be not too thin or thick. Apply little butter or oil and greese a cake tin or any plate to prevent sticking and Pour batter into the plate or bowl.
Pre heat a heavy bottom pan or a cooker (remove the gasket) for about 10 mins covered with a lid.
Once the pan is hot, place a rind at the bottom of the pan and keep your batter plate.Close the cooker or the pan tight and leave it for 40 minutes on medium heat till cake is done.
Remove, cool and cut into slices and enjoy the tea cake.
